REVIEW
Before I write the review I would like to say it was awesome!!!
So the story starts where a person named Rose Franklin at the age of eleven stumbles upon a huge hand which happens to be a part of a giant robot. Years later, she becomes a research scholar and is appointed to research on such a massive discovery ( which apparently she made at the age of eleven). Well that's fate, isn't it? The research crew which includes two main pilots, Kara and Ryan start looking for other parts of the giant body which they succeed to. The crew starts researching on every aspect of the robot. It all started in America but will America be able to confine it to itself or other world powers will get involved? What is the cost of such a massive project? No, I am not talking about money, the lives of people, will there be no causalities? I doubt. Is the robot made by our ancestors or is there something else bigger than we can imagine out there in the universe which built it and looking upon every deed of ours? Will this discovery change the perspective of ours about the world? Answer to some questions I know, but to the others I too don't. So go on, and read the book and know what I know! And to know what I don't I have to continue with the series which i definitely will. I am left in agony!!
MY VIEWS
This book has been written as a collection of interview files which I really liked. This makes it a real page turner. Every thing is written to the point. I have started admiring the knowledge possessed by the writer about Physics as well as Politics. The way he blends the political arena with the scientific world is worth witnessing. The best part is you are left in the middle of something huge at the end. I mean, I know this can be agonizing!! But come on at least I have something to look forward to in the next books. I really loved it. There was a love triangle though but it was bearable. It actually just adds a bit of flavor to the story( I just realized this). My favorite character was the person manipulating the whole situation, the one whose name wasn't mentioned all the while, the one who was interrogating everyone.
For your information, I am not a violent person, but there was this character - Alyssa Papantoniou, Geneticist, at one point I wanted her to die or else tortured to death. Mournfully she didn't receive any of it. Let's see if she gets it in the next book ( she was nasty, psychopath, I am not to blame for my feelings, sorry). Anyway, that's all folks. That's what I felt. If you haven't read the book go and read it and if you have already read it, let me know if our thoughts tally. See you in my next review. Until then BYE.
Oh! And to anyone who thinks I always write good reviews about books, it's not me, it's the books. I stumble upon good books all by coincidence and luck. But I don't think I am luck on my current read of which review will be up anytime soon. It's going to be real nasty. So stay tuned and wish me luck so that I at least finish it.
