EITHER YOU ARE GOING TO LIKE THIS OR WILL LIKE TO BREAK A CHAIR ON ME.

So here it goes...

1. THE SMELL

Do you like the smell of new books? Does Amortentia smell as smell of new pages to you? Because it does for me!!! So here it goes, a book lover, as soon as he/she gets his/her hands on new books, sniffs it, looks around, and sniffs it again!!

2. MONEY IS ALWAYS AVAILABLE FOR BOOKS (even if you are BROKE)

So, think this. It's the end of the month and you are broke. But if you are a book lover, you will still go to the bookstore or search online sites ( even for second hand books) and hoard loads of books until the last penny is spent!!

3. BOOKS ARE NOT PUT - DOWNABLE

Do you experience this? The book you are reading is an absolute page turner and you are not able to put it down for a moment. So, you take it with you to the clubs, parties, outings, bus stands, kitchen and even the toilet!! Yes I do. The unexplained feeling in our tummies until it gets finished, the agony, the stress. Oh! I just love the feeling.

4. WEEKENDS.

Do you know what's the difference between the weekends of a book-lover and a non book-lover? Well a non book-lover may be partying all night whereas a book-lover will be all curled up in his/ her couch with some tea, snacks and a book.

5. BOOKS ARE ALWAYS BETTER THAN THE MOVIES! ALWAYS!

Have you felt that rush of anger when someone says- " Oh! the movie was better than the book". Well I face it all the time. Don't you feel like breaking a chair on their heads but can't due to the laws prevailing in the country? I am sure you do.

6. ORGANIZED BOOK SHELVES.

We always like our book shelves organized. Anyone who doesn't know we even come up with creative ideas on organizing our bookshelves whether it's based on genre or it's arranged according to color or alphabetically ordered. ( Mine is based on genre by the way. What's your's?)

7. FICTIONAL CRUSHES!!

Oh! come on , don't lie to yourself. We being book lovers get fictional crushes all the time, don't we? 'NORMAL' people get it on a bunch of other 'NORMAL' people ( either the person they are crushing on knows them or doesn't)! But ours doesn't even exist! Even when I say this trust me, they exist in some parallel universe or something, OKAY! ( Recently I was crushing on this unnamed character in the book Sleeping Giants by Sylvian Neuvel. He was so manipulative and authoritative.Oh! Who is your's by the way?

8. IMAGINATION LEVELS ARE HIGH!

So, while reading, our brain starts working so fast that within minutes we are ready with an imaginary scene. I mean yes! We do this all the time and then as a bonus we start feeling actually we are in the scene, seeing and feeling everything and correlating everything with the real world ( This completely depends on the author though).

9. HOARDING SEVERAL COPIES OF YOUR FAVORITE BOOK.

Many of us like to hoard multiple copies of our favorite books. As a bonus we even personalize the books, look for merchandise, mobile wallpapers and other things related to it. ( You know something, a single copy is never enough for Harry Potter. Yes I have done it too! I will put up my mobile wallpaper over here.)

10. DREAMING ABOUT THE PLOT!

So, last but not the least, DREAMING. Have you ever dreamed of the plot of your book? Because trust me I have- Me being someone like Harry Potter and Voldemort coming to kill me! Oh yes I have done that a lot!! Not on purpose though. I even dream of going to Hogwarts. getting my letter, my wand, everything! So, tell me which was the last plot you dreamed about.

So that's it guys. These were the 10 things every book lover will relate to. Are you a book lover too? Did you relate to any of this or is it just me in this alien world? If yes, which one? Do you want a second part? Just asking. I have more ideas but couldn't include it as the post would be quite long and you would be stuck here for quite sometime. So, as promised this was my first fun segment. I hope you enjoyed it. If you did share it with your book lover friends. See you in my next post. Lots of love. Turn some pages. Until then bye!!
