REVIEW
The plot starts with a question - "Are you HAPPY in your LIFE?" Well we will get back to that. Since it's a complex question I will let you ponder over it for sometime. So let's jump right away into the plot.
Our protagonist Jason Dessen is a common man working as a professor of physics, living a peaceful life with his wife and son. Once while walking to his home from a pub he gets kidnapped and is knocked unconscious! Before ebbing away in the darkness he just hears just this- "ARE YOU HAPPY IN YOUR LIFE?"
When he wakes up, he finds himself in a place not known to him. But the people there seem to know him very well. He finds out he is a very celebrated scientist. He discovered something impossible. He never got married, his son doesn't exist. But how? Everything seems to be wrong. As if the reality he was facing was way distant from THE REALITY HE WAS LIVING THE DAY BEFORE!
He now has to minimise the distance between him and the world/ the life he was living in the day before.
Since it is a spoiler free review I won't write anymore but trust me the journey he covers is worth witnessing.
MY VIEWS
Blake Crouch is one of my favorite authors. The author is known to keep his audience at the edge of their seats and it seems he didn't fail. This is a complete thriller with a science-fiction twist in it. Once you get your hands on it you will binge read it. This book has been written in a script like fashion. So if you don't have a problem with that you are gonna love it.
It's mind twisting and believe me after reading this you start questioning yourself on the facts and possibilities mentioned in the book if that really does exist!! It's worth the hype.
So at last I would like to ask ARE YOU HAPPY IN YOUR LIFE? Or are there dreams left you wanna achieve. Do let me know in the comments box below. Also let me know if you have read the book already and what you think about it. Feel free to share your views.
I will stop here. See you soon in my next review. AND GUYS COME'ON TURN SOME PAGES. Bye.
